Jiayi Xue is an undergraduate student in Economics at Renmin University of China, specializing in Quantitative Economics and Applied Econometrics. With a robust foundation in mathematics and statistics, she focuses on leveraging machine learning algorithms and advanced econometric models to address complex economic forecasting and policy evaluation challenges. Jiayi demonstrates a full-cycle capability in quantitative analysis. Regarding data acquisition, she developed a high-performance multi-threaded web crawler using Python and IP-Proxy-Pool, compiling a comprehensive nationwide housing price dataset with 2 million records. On the analytical side, she engineered a complete machine learning pipeline for real estate price prediction; by leveraging feature engineering, K-Means clustering, and optimizing models such as Ridge, XGBoost, and ANN, she achieved predictive accuracy within the top 10% of performance benchmarks.
